Turnstile has a fantastic role for an intellectually curious Research Analyst looking to throw themselves into a brilliant industry, with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest rightsholders and brands in sport and entertainment. As a Research Analyst, you’ll be playing a key role in developing world-class research projects which will fuel our team with the insights they need to deliver best-in-class fair market sponsorship valuations to our clients across the globe.
What is the role?
Working closely with Turnstile’s Head of Data & Insight, the Research Analyst will be responsible for project managing, implementing, and reporting on world-class research and insight projects.
The Research Analyst will:
- Play a key role in managing one of the biggest global sport and entertainment proprietary research programs, which is active in 20+ markets around the world
- Manage bespoke research projects for major brands and rights owners across sport, entertainment, and gaming
- Manage an on-going program of research testing the effectiveness of different types of sponsorship inventory
You will be required to manage the end-to-end delivery of research projects through efficient and effective practices. This includes supporting the development of questionnaires, analysing data in Q, and drawing out insights for client reports.
There will be opportunities to develop your consulting skills by working frequently and closely with internal and external stakeholders including Turnstile’s client delivery team, our clients and research partners. This is a great opportunity to take on responsibility for specific research initiatives and to build and maintaining relationships in the industry.
Your role will sit alongside the Head of Data & Insight and a team of valuation consultants in our London office.
Who are we looking for?
This key role requires a Research Analyst with 2+ years of market research experience (preferably consulting / agency side) with a focus on managing research projects on behalf of a range of clients.
Must have skills:
- Quantitative research skills
- A good understanding of general business principles
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, marketing, statistics, or market research
- Advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are required
Ideal capabilities include:
- Experience with Q software (and/or SPSS or similar software)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data manipulation and processing skills
- A clear understanding of questionnaire design principles and question formats
- Experience managing research trackers, including sampling and quota management
- The ability to understand and interpret business/marketing information and research
- The ability to prepare insight driven documents for clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
